Friendly reminder that Friday, March 20 is a snow makeup day!
The School District of Lancaster will be IN SESSION on Friday, March 20 as a make-up for the snow day on Dec. 2. This will be a regular school day for students and staff across the district.
On Monday, March 23, there is NO SCHOOL for students. Staff will participate in the annual ED Conference.

Mrs. Marian Grill / Lafayette Elementary
Welcome to Lafayette Elementary School, where every member of our Lafayette Family is committed to the growth of every individual.
This year our focus is the district’s Theory of Action. By refining our instructional practices, implementing high-quality, aligned curriculum and providing a multi-tiered systems of support, every student will get what they need every day. We are committed to every child receiving an excellent education so they are academically and emotionally prepared to be successful in college, career, and the community. We will continue to observe, listen, and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to provide an excellent equitable education to all of our Lafayette students.
As your principal, I appreciate your continued support and commitment to our Lafayette family because we are better together. I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Lafayette exceed their goals and have a successful school year!
