How to Report:
Students:
If a student has been subject to conduct by any student, employee or third party that constitutes a violation of the District’s anti-harassment or nondiscrimination policy(s), the student or their parent/guardian, is encouraged to immediately report the incident in any of the following ways:
1) Complete the reporting form found in the corresponding Board Policy.
2) Email the Student Title IX Coordinator directly: TitleIX@sdlancaster.org
3) Report the incident to the building principal or designee, or to any other member of the school staff.
Employees:
An employee or third party who believes they have been subject to conduct by any employee or third party that constitutes a violation of the District’s anti-harassment or nondiscrimination policy(s) is encouraged to immediately report the incident in any of the following ways:
1) Report the incident to the building principal or the immediate supervisor
2) Complete the reporting form in Board Policy 104.
3) Email the Employee Title IX Coordinator directly: TitleIX@sdlancaster.org
Mandatory Reporting:
Any employee who witnesses, suspects or is notified that a student has been subject to conduct that constitutes a Title IX violation shall immediately report the incident by using the reporting form from the corresponding Board Policy.

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits sex based discrimination, including sexual harassment. This federal law defines sexual harassment as any instance of quid pro quo harassment by a school’s employee; any unwelcome conduct that a reasonable person would find so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it denies a person equal educational access; any instance of sexual assault (as defined in the Clery Act), dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking as defined in the Violence Against Women Act (VA WA).
